NEW NIN CLUE REVEALS REZNOR TRIAL, CONVICTION

A new clue in the Year Zero concept has revealed the purpose behind the mysterious numbering system that has linked all other clues found so far. Exhibit24.net is a list of all supporting evidence in a Bureau of Morality case against “inmate [CLASSIFIED]”, widely believed to refer to Trent Reznor and his future conviction and incarceration.

The clue was found by analyzing some static tracks of the “Capital G” garage band release, released yesterday on nin.com. Using spectrum analysis avatars of members of NIN forums were found, with the initial letter of the usernames forming the word “exhibit24”.

Previous clues in this massive concept story have hinted that, in the future, Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor will be tried, convicted, and eventually executed for his crimes against the government.

As the story goes, resistance “pilgrims”, spending their days working in a quantum computing lab, have devised a way of sending information to our current time in an effort to warn and prevent future events from happening. The Year Zero album is itself an artifact from this future reality.

Exhibit24, the latest artifact, is a list of evidence against the future Reznor and the resistance following him in this alternate world. Included is every website, flier, photograph, murel, recording, and video found so far, along with several undiscovered clues.

The Exhibit24 site itself is included, as well as two lists identifying members of what is called Resistance Networks, with each member labeled with their own evidence number. The lists include the following instruction:

These people are intelligent, organized, and highly motivated. Finding, catching, and destroying them should be a top priority.

The two lists comprise the membership of the Spiral fanclub, and many members of the Echoing the Sound discussion board.

I myself am listed (as jaso9):

Some of the members have designations attached to their names: [Incarcerated], [Deceased], [Executed], [Soft target], [EJDF-Guam], [Missing], [Under Surveillance], and perhaps worse than Executed or Incarcerated, [Informant/Employee].

A few resistors over on ETS have already begun making plans to get tattoos of the unique evidence numbers. Suffice it to say this latest update has driven home Trent’s devotion to his fans, immortalizing the faithful by weaving them into his story.

One fan, wintermute, is listed as [Executed], and is rumored to be killed in part for his recent propagation of the AIR campaign through selling stickers (at cost) on ETS – though no one can say what future crimes against the government he may commit.
