CROWDCTRL
AN INCONVENIENT LIFE OF LUXURY
Interesting news today from the Nashville Electric Service. After Al Gore’s An Inconvenient Truth’s Oscar Sunday, the Tennessee Center for Policy Research reports:
“Gore’s mansion, located in the posh Belle Meade area of Nashville, consumes more electricity every month than the average American household uses in an entire year.”
The report continues: “In total, Gore paid nearly $30,000 in combined electricity and natural gas bills for his Nashville estate in 2006.”
Have you seen the movie? Gil said it’s a must-see. Dil reports this morning that Gore’s movie is a great example of Tufte’s theories of cherry picking.
What do you think?
