WHEN IS MARKETING DECEITFUL?

Interesting find..

Excedrin Migraine contains the same exact active ingredients as Excedrin Extra Strength (Acetaminophen 250 mg, Aspirin 250 mg, Caffeine 65 mg).

Excedrin Quicktabs contains the same exact active ingredients (with a few extra inactive ingredients) as Excedrin Tension Headache (Acetaminophen 500 mg, (formulated with 65 mg caffeine)).

Turns out, Tylenol (Extra Strength and Women’s), and Advil (Regular and Migraine; Allergy Sinus and Multi-Symptom Cold) are also switching labels on their best forumulas in the interest of marketing.

Does it matter? Simply, they’re saying their product also works for varying causes. Would a marketing campaign advertising Excedrin Extra Strength as an excellent migraine medicine be just as effective? Is it deceitful? Ethical? False advertising?
